VEVOLORA CARE GUIDE
Care, Styling & Longevity
With the right care routine, your VEVOLORA hair can stay softer, smoother, and more wearable for everyday life.
Use mild products and avoid harsh brushing or over-washing.
Use low heat only when the product allows heat styling.
Store your wig on a stand or in a silk bag when not in use.
How often should I wash my wig?
Washing frequency depends on how often you wear it, your climate, styling products, and activity level. For occasional wear, you may not need to wash it often. For daily wear, wash only when there is noticeable buildup, odor, or loss of softness.
Over-washing can shorten the life of the hair, so we recommend a gentle routine. Always detangle before washing, use lukewarm water, and allow the hair to air dry when possible.
What products should I use?
Use sulfate-free, gentle shampoo and conditioner when possible. Avoid heavy oils, sticky gels, harsh alcohol sprays, or products that cause buildup. A lightweight leave-in conditioner or detangling spray can help maintain softness.
If your product page includes specific care instructions, follow those first. Different fibers, textures, and hair types may require different routines.
Can I use heat tools?
Heat styling depends on the product material. If the product page says it is heat-friendly or human hair, you may use heat carefully at a lower temperature. Always test a small section first and use heat protectant.
Avoid excessive heat, repeated straightening, or curling at high temperatures. Too much heat can cause dryness, frizz, shedding, or damage over time.
How do I prevent tangling and shedding?
Gently detangle from the ends upward using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush. Do not pull aggressively. Avoid sleeping in your wig, swimming with it, or wearing it in high-friction situations without protection.
Some shedding is normal with hair products, especially after brushing or first use. Proper care, storage, and gentle handling can help reduce unnecessary shedding.
How should I store my wig?
Store your wig on a wig stand, mannequin head, or inside a breathable storage bag. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity, and dust.
Before storing, make sure the hair is dry and gently detangled. For longer styles, loosely braid or tie the hair to reduce tangling.
